Today marks the first public step for Long Lost.


Long Lost is an independent game studio founded on a simple idea: to build focused, expressive games that value atmosphere, mechanics, and player discovery over noise. We are early in our journey, but the direction is clear and it begins with our first title, Tidespawn.


Why Long Lost

Long Lost exists to capture a sense of discovery often missing from modern games where depth comes from exploration, restraint, and mechanics that speak for themselves.


As a studio, we care deeply about:

  • Strong mechanical foundations
  • Clear artistic identity
  • Systems that invite curiosity rather than explain everything
  • Technology that serves design, not the other way around

This philosophy shapes both how we build and what we choose to build.


Introducing Tidespawn

Tidespawn is currently in active development and represents the studio’s first major project.


While it’s still early to share full details, Tidespawn is being designed around exploration, systems-driven gameplay, and a world that reveals itself gradually. It is a game where environment, mechanics, and pacing are tightly intertwined where understanding the world is part of playing it.


The Road Ahead

This website is part of that beginning.


Here we’ll share development updates, technical insights, and milestones as Long Lost and Tidespawn take shape. Some posts will be high-level, others more in-depth, but all of them will reflect the work as it actually is, not just how it’s marketed.
